Closet magazine is a collective media platform where POC voices in the LGBTQIA+ community can come together and share their own stories, experiences, advice, etc. to other members of the community.
The goal of Closet is to create a community where POC are able to see themselves be represented in media that details the specific struggles of balancing culture, ethnicity, gender and sexual identity. It also will provide a sense of positivity to younger POC members of the LGBTQIA+ community who do not necessarily have the resources to ask for help with coming to terms with their own identity, and it will give them a resource where they are able to see themselves being represented in media.
